My group just stopped here for a quick drink before heading out to Balboa Park, and the drinks were very tasty. I tried the taro smoothie, and my friends got coffee, and we loved it all! Everything was reasonably priced for the area—I paid about $9 for my smoothie.
Some other people in the cafe ordered food, which looked delicious. I’d love to come back the next time I’m in San Diego for breakfast! The cafe area is so cute (a bit small, and might not have tables available if you stop by at a busy time) and it’s located in a very walkable and accessible area. If you’re staying at the Westin hotel across the street, you simply must stop by!

Good coffee and drinks! I had a tasty cortado, the milk a steamed a bit too hot, but still drinkable. I tried the keto smoothie. Not sure if I would get it again. I did finish it but would to try something else if I visit again.

Kuma Cafe is a delightful modern eatery in downtown SD. I happily award Kuma a maximum Triple Yum (yumyumyum) score for the deliciously yummy toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I washed it down with a small earl grea tea on my way to the harbor. thank you team kuma...yumyumyum!

Had my standard mocha 1/2 sweet with oak milk which they crushed, perfect amount of sweet. To eat I had the specialty avocado toast - bread was perfect with a little crunch to it, avocado sliced thin and I wasn’t expecting the crushed red pepper but it was a nice touch. Little small inside, but a good amount of seating and nice decorations and atmosphere. Not sure how a Starbucks would survive within 5 miles of this place.

I absolutely loved my specialty avocado toast, I ate it up in 30 seconds. My cappuccino was very very good. I decided to order the kale smoothie, and I loved it as well. The service was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner :). They have outdoor seating, too. In the center of downtown so it’s close to a lot of things
