This is such a hidden gem in downtown. The cafeteria isn’t big, but the quality of its food is outstanding. We ordered an avocado toast and a tiramisu. The toast was perfectly toasted, and the sauce on top was exceptional. I liked the way it had a touch of vinegar—it added a nice kick. Great choice!
Great drinks at skybound! We ordered a Thai tea boba and iced cafe caramel and really liked them. The staff is very friendly and quick. There’s a dog friendly outdoor patio. Recommend!
I don’t ever make reviews but this place is seriously deserving of a good one! I specifically came here because of all the spectacular Google reviews and because I was skeptical of them having “the best Vietnamese coffee ever.” So, of course I had to see if it was actually just that and to my surprise it was! On top of it being the best Vietnamese iced coffee I’ve ever had, the service there is truly sweet and helpful every time I go. Its consistency in taste alongside its warm customer service makes me want to continue coming back! Thank y’all for always making me smile before I leave to go about my day. -CJ
While in San Diego last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of coming across this coffee shop. Alex, who works there was SO kind and funny (even right after another customer walked into the back room uninvited). I switched to tea years ago and asked about chai, to find out they not only make 2 kinds in-house, but also make their own vanilla and almond milk! It was the best chai I had out of 3 in the city, with just the right amt of sweetness from the vanilla. My friend really liked her vanilla iced coffee too! I only wished I lived closer to get it all the time. Def worth the cost for the quality and service :) They also had some cool looking desserts, including something that looked like a giant Ferrero rocher that I wish I had the time to try.
Skybound Coffee and Lounge was a great food experience! I tried their lavender vanilla latte with almond milk - the homemade lavender syrup made it so creamy, delicious, and perfectly sweet. I also had a custom egg scramble sandwich on gluten-free bread, which was equally amazing. Their menu has so many tempting options, including some decadent-looking sweets that I can’t wait to try next time. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a perfect spot for a quick bite!
