I've started typing this review several times now and keep deleting because I can't find the right words to describe how amazing this place is. We first visited several days ago and got breakfast - the turkey croissant and acai bowl, the flat white coffee and iced chai tea. Everything was fantastic, the acai bowl was absolutely perfect - the fruit was fresh and ripe, the acai was delicious and the mix of granola honey and peanut butter was so amazing. The croissant was baked to perfection and the pesto sauce was like nothing I've ever tasted before. I had asked for my flat white to be on the sweeter side which Moe happily obliged and it was perfect - sweet but not TOO sweet.
We loved this place so much we came back two days later. Moe remembered us, and after we ordered asked if I wanted the flat white sweet again. I had forgotten to ask for the sweet but he remembered.
We are not San Diego locals but we will definitely make it a point to return to Village Cafe any time we visit.

Stopped by this place by luck for a quick breakfast. The service is amazing and the food is fresh, healthy and delicious. They even tweaked a few things to accommodate my lactose intolerance including freshly prepared oatmeal. I highly recommend.

Very comfortable place. Too many customers but the service is amazing, you feel like you’re really important, so is wonderfull. The taste of the turkey croissant was unbelievable, crunchy and soft. Nice coffee. It’s a small place but nice and quiet.

Attention. Attention. All Australians in San Diego looking for great coffee and a fantastic breakfast, go here.
Avocado on toast is delicious. The smoothies and Açai bowls are definitely worth trying.

Dog-friendly spot!
It’s always nice to see that more and more places allow you to bring your lovely pets.
Everything was great, from the service to the food and drink.
It's a nice local spot to get your breakfast quickly within an affordable budget.
Google pin is wrong - you need to walk across the corner to get to the coffee shop.
